I would consider getting someone like belotti. He is young and can play SS and CF. He can work well with a Belotti-Dybala partnership or even a Belotti- Higuain partnership

Belotti is good but he is far from SS, he is a poacher, more limited type then Gonzalo so the idea of him being SS to Gonzalo is dumb. As is paying 50 or 60 for him to backup to Gonzalo lol.

Barzagli is 36 coming year, he oughta need replacing before Alves no?
Why? One is a fullback relying on pace, the other one is Barzagli. I don't have a problem with old CB's, but old fullbacks who are supposed to run up and down all game? No thanks.

I'd say a 33 year old fullback is worse than a 35 year old CB.

Licht contract ends this summer.
barzagli is gonna be 36 soon. we don't know if he'll recover from his injury but hopefully hes still as good as he was before
Chiellini still had 3 years imo but longterm those are the replacements.

I know the physical differences of the role, but 36 is still a lot and Barzagli has streaks of injury lay offs. While Dani Alves declined physically a while back, he relies mainly on technique and skill.

Maldini played untill 40 cause when his pace went away, he still had his vast array of other skills.

Alves lost his pace ? Do we remember him for pace ? I remember him for his combination ability, his playmaking from the wing, his amazing crosses and when in form his decisionmaking on the edge of the box. Decisionmaking improves with age.

I can absolutely see alves play for quite a while. When was the last time he got an injury not related to impact trauma ? Fine, he has a 4 month fracture now. Nothing to do with age, just bad luck.

Chiellini and Barzagli, collect several non trauma injuries the past seasons. Alves likely outlasts them.

Alves used to be really quick and athletic, he has defenitely lost more then one step in past 3 years or so.

Raki you are naive if you think if Belotti continues to score like he is the new Icardi, that he won't be hyped to cost double of that 25m you suggest. And worst of all, you think his regular price wouldn't nearly double if Juve was interested.
