I would never trade Verratti for Dybala. NEVER!

Neither would I and the reason is a very simple one: at 23 and a season and a half at Juve Dybala has played 44 league games for us and scored 22 goals. For a (relatively) young striker those are excellent numbers. Especially if you consider that Dybala has an incredible impact on the way we play and isn't just about goals.

The trade would still be appealing from a director point of view though. Verratti's talent is undeniable, he's Italian and he's a Juventus fan. If you get Verratti, you get someone who is almost certain to play for this club for the next 10 years and who will be incredibly marketable throughout Italy.

One or two in a decade, like gravesen and him. on the other hand, our :beppe: is bombarding us with shit like that.
They've had double our turnover since Calciopoli, hardly difficult not to buy big stars each summer. That and they have a bordering-mafia monopoly on Spanish players they send out with buyback options. We have only been able to implement something similar since the end of co-ownerships, and the buyback clauses are not overwhelmingly in our favour like Real Madrid somehow have in Spain.

We are already the most popular and supported club in Italy, and that's why we also need to invest in high quality foreign talent. That's why I am all for the purchase of James. He's an amazing player and incredibly marketable.

Can Verratti, Marchisio and Pjanic play in the same midfield?
Nah. Atleast surely Allegri wouldn't. Unless we plan on playing a diamond, that midfield three would be the softest we've ever had never mind the skill and technique.

We should make signings based on what we need imo. A physical beast is what we need primarily.

Marchisio and Verratti are very good/excellent defensively. Also the ball movement and ball holding will be much better than now

Been sick in bed for days so I missed everything.

Can somebody fill me in and say did we sign somebody? And who are our 'targets' in January, if there are any?
    We signed Rincon of Genoa.
Witsel signed with a Chinese club for big bucks.
    Gagliardini close to inDa.
    L. Gustavo, Tolisso[cup-tied], N'Zonzi[cup-tied] are other mids linked to us. Verratti too for the summer but don't believe that.

Not really. He had Lemina. We also were close to sign Witsel whos adding very little physicallity.

But this is also the coach that whenever he can states that we need to improve our technical level. Verratti, while doing exactly that to our midfield, doesent bring any decrease is the physical aspect compared to now, so there is nothing to suggest Allegri wouldnt do it
