Dybala isn’t ‘happy’ that the club will discuss the contract again with him, so in February he’s either going to accept different conditions or think about it leaving him open as a free agent. At the moment this situation is still open. (Romano)

You guys are so overrating these kids.

Every coach in the world would take our midfielders before Fagioli, Rovella and Ranocchia if they were to decide in the summer.

It's easy for you to act smart in front of your monitor but in real life you can't take such risks.

Fagioli and Ranocchia have been playing with semi pros at Serie C. Rovella has been average last season (for his experience he did ok but for a Serie A standard he was average).

Let's take Tonali as an example. He had full seasons with Brescia both at Serie B and Seria A before he joined Milan and still last season he was mediocre. Only now he's becoming more of an asset for Milan. And I don't think he is less talented than those three.
Nah man, Arthur and Ramsey offered us exactly 0 this season.
Bentancur maybe had two games in which he worked hard off the ball but overal didn’t do anything. And I’m not exaggerating here.

I really invite you to watch a few games of them and then try to understand if they potentially could’ve played. Pirlo horribly misjudged the situation last year.

If there was any year for a midfielder to get a chance in the first team it was this year. If it didn’t worked, no problem we could’ve loaned them as they’re still very young.

Watch them play where? Arthur, Ramsey and Bentancur would all instantly be the best player in Serie B if they played there.

True but this task is too much to ask for a kid of that age and experience with possibly only a few exceptions. The pressure is huge right now. I'm all for bringin them back when we have at least one more decent midfielder in the squad: Loca, player X, McKennie, Rovella & Fagioli sounds fine to me but only if player X is highly dependable.

Says who? You are overrating these players and/or underrating Serie B/A.

Rovella excels in Genoa. Neither of those 3 would be the best player at Genoa. Ramsey can be the best player for 5 matches a season sure, but that's not really useful to anyone except Wales. Bentancur has been in Serie A for like 4 or 5 seasons now and he isn't blowing anyone away. There are plenty of midfielders better than him. Young and old. Arthur has talent, he can do more, but as of now he only plays a handful of minutes, its not like he is doing much.

In Serie B it is not easy to be consistent. Someone like Arthur would still have to know how to defend, Bentancur would still have to learn to do more with the ball, and Ramsey would still get run over and injured.

Talented players deserve a chance and more often than not clubs benefit for giving it.

If I look at Serie B's best young player award they used to give (2011-2019). Almost of all of these players truly deserved a big chance after their Serie B season, and all that got it succeed.

El Shaarawy, Insigne, Verratti, Immobile, Berardi, Rugani, Masina, Morosini, Cragno, Tonali

Fagioli would likely win it this season. Deserves the chance over most of our midfielders.

Or perhaps I'm not doing either and you're overrating those players and underrating our current ones. It's all hypothetical anyways because none of Arthur, Bentancur or Ramsey will ever play in Serie B because they're way too good for such league.

By the way what I wrote doesn't apply to Rovella, he is playing in Serie A and doing well.
