Plus 20 percent sell on clause so it is right from their perspective but is he worth 45 million euros for a pure defensive midfielder.
I have no idea what kind of player he is and if he is worth it. For mecperfect formation for our setup is 4231 so we need a CDM, just one who can actually pass and play under pressure

Rovella is the perfect fit even more so than this Bruno guy because he actually knows serie A, but we gotta be the nice guys in every scenario and let poor little Genoa hold onto the kid they don’t even own.

Agresti on VS:

- after the Super Cup there will be a meeting and we will know more about the mercato. Azmoun is just a name, an option, no negotiation with Zenit yet. They still need to decide if they want a prima or seconda punta
- Agresti thinks that the Bruno Guimaraes link means Allegri wants to push Locatelli more forward now
- for him Azmoun is a very cold name so far, not close to a first option
- Morata-Barca on standby. No chance for Scamacca in January since Sassuolo want a huge offer and Juve cannot do it, but he thinks something will be done in January
- to get a midfielder at least one more in addition to Ramsey needs to leave. Someone said that would be Arthur, Agresti replied that he asked to leave last month to play more, lets see if his playing time changes or he wants to leave still
- he thinks regardless of CL next season we will try a Locatelli style operation. Again implying we are broke
Ah yes midway through the January transfer window and Beanie hasn't even sat down with Allegri let alone negotiated with anyone fml what a fraud of a sporting director.

it's not about being nice. clubs have a contract, genoa have every right to say no, and we don't have any reason to be pissed. it is what it is, dude will be back next summer, and will earn his starting spot unless something unexpected happens and we sign someone better.

lol contracts, Morata would be at Barca right now if we had money/replacement. And my problem isnt with Genoa, it’s with Juve not even attempting to bring him back early. Its time to start bullying these italian clubs around, they all hate Juve anyway.

morata didn't leave because he has a contract.

we probably tried but they said no. they are fighting relegation and rovella is arguably their most important player. they probably can't find a replacement. (i'd suggest sensi to them, he's healthy but not playing too much for merda.)

the point is Barca didn’t care about Moratas contract, and at least attempted to get him. We‘re happy respecting “the process” and being nice while seemingly never getting the favor returned.

Keyword 'seemingly'

I remember Commisso not wanting to sell Chiesa to us very well...

Chiesa forced the move. Same with Loca. Only way we get anyone significant from Italy
you can't sing yourself for juventus without the club being involved. convincing the player is part of the process obviously. cristiano is the only recently signed player who picked us and we just stood there like little girls wetting our pants, every other deal (the good and the bad ones too) required active participation from the club.

i don't get your point either. as i said we probably tried for rovella, iirc agresti reported too. we could have pushed harder like barca did - and juve got pissed because of that too. it's illegal to approach players without the consent of their club, and we probably prefer genoa in serie a too, so there's that.

bottom line is that rovella is not coming back yet. i'd love to have him here asap, but i won't cut my wrists over it.

Because we tried... What's your point? Morata also wanted Barca, we stood our ground. At least for now.
because it didnt involve any goodwill/favors. If it were up to Fiorentina and Sassuolo, both Chiesa and Loca would be in the premier league. But they can’t force a player to go somewhere he doesn’t wanna go. So the suggestion that clubs actually do “return the favor” is silly.

Same goes for any transfer ever. Getting the will of the player, forces their hands. Which we've actually done admirably. But that's part of the reason why we must go Italian more often.
