@s4tch

How is Dominik Szoboszlai doing? He’s still 21 right? Always looked like an intriguing target to go for when we were linked to him in 2020-21… would be an interesting option to play opposite Chiesa.

i would expect morata to score around 20 goals for barcelona.
he scored the same amount for juve during last season, so it wouldn't be a surprise in a generally high scoring team. he'd regress after first critiques though.

honestly i don't follow him this season, i just saw some highlights. a friend told me recently that he's having a rollercoaster season: some brilliant games here, some meh ones there. he's probably still raw, which isn't too surprising for his age. the talent is there, the ambition is there (ppl close to the nt say that he's got the confidence of cristiano), consistency still missing. based on the last couple of seasons, i'd take him over kulu for attacking and shooting potential in a heartbeat. same or higher price than kulu though. :boh:

Idc about his track record so far, Chiesa didn't have the greatest either. Give me a fighter like Scamacca over an infinitely more talented pussy like Morata any day
100%.

Time to move on. Scamacca gives us something new: hold up play, physicality and wins duels.

His goalscoring record might not be the best but i think he could help us a lot regardless with the abilities mentioned

Unlikely off course, but would be a fantastic signing. Argentinian Chiesa

40 million euros for the new zaza is too much though he is better than most of the forwards we are linked to.

Me too. Just I don't see that many changes. I think our tighten purse is mostly failure to reach objectives, covid, SuperLeague dreams and last but not least no viable path forward for our 'old strategy'. Now we are in penny-pinching mode and rightly so, but will lose big players and might even fail CL. Icardi, Morata - one with two left feet, the other two middle ones... same old, reheated.

Vlahovic is new, but so was Haaland and we skipped on that. For Morata.

I don't know about Scamacca or something fresh from the lower leagues. Before we could find those players and make use of them instead of strengthening the likes of Sassuolo and Atalanta to the point they might beat us with 1/5 of our budget. Maybe all that will change in the next 2-3 years and hopefully it will, but in the meantime I see it as the cup more than half empty and your 'we just hired X' is wishful thinking in my book.

If he could be professional enough, yeah. I think he got the money and now has Wanda issues. Besides dry loan for Icardi would be completely wasteful in terms of mentality. More likely he wouldn't care, but who knows that might actually help.
We didn't skip on Haaland... He skipped on us and he was right. At this point, Vlahovic would be taking the hardest route too if he chose us.

It's not wishful thinking imo. It's a clear turnaround towards Marotta's way of building again. Get some (young) Italians or the next best thing; Serie A proven players and bore the shit out of them in negotiations to get a 5 penny discount.

Many Juve fans are just so damn spoiled and love to bash everything their team does while we're winning trophies for 10 years in a row now... It's bound to fail sometime somewhere...

Yes, what a great goal it was against the mighty 10 man Empoli. After the Sass player bundled over the Empoli player and rolled the ball across to Scamacca, who had to contend with an out of position goalie and an empty net. Such a sublime goal.

He almost scored from outside the box as well. Sassuolo were playing shit until he came on.

Edit: scored again
