It's said Fiorentina is accelerating for this Alvarez kid, hmm Piątek now him, maybe Vlaho is leaving this window after all? It's said Arsenal might be his destination if he leaves now...

now they mention juve too? some days ago it was the two milanese only.

anyway, good news if true. guy won a lot of individual awards, scored a ton, assisted a lot, can allegedly play basically any attacking position, can shoot from close range or from distance, can dribble, looks legit. forza bini. i wouldn't sell kulu or snacks to fund someone like scamacca, but if we can get this guy, i'm all in.

Yeah, you are right of course. Icardi is a totally new name. As is Morata.

Maybe they were solely Nedved's choices.
I don't want to be right nor wrong, pal. Just debating. But let's not act as if every media outlet out there repeats another one's horseshit.

And let's also not pass by on the fact Scamacca and Vlahovic are much more present names before we start going down our own tunnel visions.

Also Icardi is a great striker imo, just not now. We don't have enough time and strong backup options to wait for him.

I reckon he'd be a good replacement for Dybala if he does leave. Him + Vlahovic would be perfect additions

Me too. Just I don't see that many changes. I think our tighten purse is mostly failure to reach objectives, covid, SuperLeague dreams and last but not least no viable path forward for our 'old strategy'. Now we are in penny-pinching mode and rightly so, but will lose big players and might even fail CL. Icardi, Morata - one with two left feet, the other two middle ones... same old, reheated.

Vlahovic is new, but so was Haaland and we skipped on that. For Morata.

I don't know about Scamacca or something fresh from the lower leagues. Before we could find those players and make use of them instead of strengthening the likes of Sassuolo and Atalanta to the point they might beat us with 1/5 of our budget. Maybe all that will change in the next 2-3 years and hopefully it will, but in the meantime I see it as the cup more than half empty and your 'we just hired X' is wishful thinking in my book.

As much as I dislike Icardi he would take us to top 4 as he is a finisher. Its actually all he really is but this is what we are actually missing for top 4.
Loan with option for someone like Icardi - Unfortunately I say we should pounce on it - Just think about it as a dry loan.
Then in the summer get Vlahovic and fix our mid so we could battle for first place and not talk about our 4th place goal.
If he could be professional enough, yeah. I think he got the money and now has Wanda issues. Besides dry loan for Icardi would be completely wasteful in terms of mentality. More likely he wouldn't care, but who knows that might actually help.

Icardi is a nobody at PSG so I think he would care.
Dry loan is not going to be in our terms as it would be loan with option but if you dont take that option its basically a dry loan.
Icardi for now until the summer - I dislike him but he is by far a better finisher than what we currently have.
Icardi in the summer? No point doing that.

We need a finisher and we need it now. In the summer we can evaluate all our options and go for the one who suits us best.
