theres a “rumor of a rumor” that Muriel’s agent had a meeting with Juventus to talk about a posible deal…

not very reliable I know, but I wanted to know the general opinion about it
i see

i like muriel :boh: but all depends on the context. there's a difference between muriel the dybala replacement and muriel the super sub

The Muriel rumor comes from Momblano though, so you guys better take it with a pinch of salt. Agresti said we want Icardi on a dry loan.

IMO, we will be closing this season as we are. If Ramsey fucks off in January, it's a bonus that will give us more capacity for the next Summer.

Icardi is a good player when you ignore his personality
you can NEVER ignore a player's personality though. huge and inseparable part of the whole package.

arthur would be a good player if he didn't have a shitty attitude.
rabiot has everything to become a class player, besides his mentality. he could if he tried.
mandzukic wasn't the last word on technical abilities and he wasn't prolific enough, but his workrate, tactical discipline and absolute alpha personality made him a top player despite his obvious flaws.
giovinco was a great talent, he had a tidy shot and great vision, but he was simply a mental midget to wear our jersey.
higuain would be a world champion if he could score a sitter under pressure.
vidal would be still here if he wasn't an alcoholic idiot.
morata wouldn't be a moody snowflake if he wasn't a moody snowflake.
etc

icardi is a world class prick without workrate and team spirit, that make him a huge, clear, undisputed NO.

Yeah but Icardi in his element is a 30 goal scorer. We know that, we've seen it happen.

Arthur in his element is in Brazil beating up on Corinthians and Flamengo.

Mentioning Vidal and Mandzukic in this list must be blasphemy, beside that you are probably right.

he never scored 30 in a single season, buddy. he had one outstanding and two great seasons at inda, which isn't much more than bellotti had at toro. and he barely reached 30 in 3 seasons with psg playing in a farmers league, which is pretty poor, even considering his injuries. he just doesn't care. i have a commom friend with a former hungarian nt player who played with him at samp, and he said that icardi just doesn't give a shit about his team, he's an introvert (which is completely fine otherwise, but not very team sport friendly), the first to leave the locker, the last to arrive. he had zero friends, he left samp like a stranger. nobody would miss him at psg. it would be a terrible step to sign him. we need team players and leaders, and he's obviously neither of those. no wonder that when beppe started the cleaning, the first thing he did was to find a new capitano and fired icardi (and nainggolan, an other prick) at his first opportunity.

judging by stats alone, morata's last season was better than 5 of icardi's last 7 seasons. i don't know why icardi has this image of a goal scoring machine. he's good at killing off crosses, that's probably his only skill. he had some good seasons when perisic and candreva put in 30 crosses per games :boh:

honestly i'd rather take scamacca or (obviously) vlahovic than spend a single € on icardi, even if icardi wasn't a prick. but he's one.
