I think we tend to exaggerate those antagonisms. Business is business. Have seen plenty of examples of it.

agreed, but this is italy. tell me examples when lotito and adl said "fuck it, it's business after all"
iirc we bought higuain using his release clause, it was out of adl's hands, and we bought licht for 10m, only because he was on the last year of his contract and he made crystal clear that he won't renew and would join us, either in '11 or on a bosman next summer. oh yeah, and lotito let us loan caceres for half a season when inzaghi didn't play him at all.
i don't remember any cases when these mofo's would willingly do any business on important players with juventus.

Yap we need that depth.. Thats the difference between ending 7th or 8th...
Who cares about depth when the team cant win games.. The idea is to have a good depth and we dont really have that as well.
Chiesa is great but he is playing for a team that has players below his level and holding him back.
Dybala is also great but he is either injured or goes on and off.
MDL - He is a beast on paper but if you look at his positioning at times you start questioning him
Basically we need to improve every position but one or two.
Since we are not going to destroy and rebuild what I suggest is this:
2 more midfielders
CM - Defensive type but one who also knows to attack from time to time.
CM - Offesive type - One who can take control of our midfield and provide goals and assists
1 Winger - LW - Tough to fill with a natural one.
1 CF - a goal machine type of forward - Someone that strikes fear in the opponent eyes. Halland would be best but realistically Vlahovic is probably our best option.
LB - A.Sandro started to play well but it lasted for 2 or 3 games..
RB - I dont feel we have a serious cover on the right (or someone to attack with Chiesa) - Unless Cuadrado who isnt a real RB is playing.
CB - I guess MDL Chiellini and Bonucci would look much better with a proper midfield protecting them. Conceding goals is also related to the midfield (Arthur for example dont know how to even put an effort defensively..)
I just hope this nightmare ends soon and we return to being the Juve that terrorized Italy all these years.
