Why on earth would City sell Jovetic?

They've been playing Milner as a forward 'cause of lack of depth.

Granted if they sign Bony they might consider selling him, but it would make more sense keeping him until summer since they've got both PL and CL to compete in.
No city are apparently looking to strengthen in other areas too and will use jovetic to fund the move

No, apparently it's the other way around: every player signed by another club is shitty and unworthy while the same people defend Pereyra as AM. You make it sound like we have Isco here and we're so good in the attack department we don't need any improvement.

People not wanting Shaqiri or Jovetic here but at the same time trying to justify Pereyra or Sneijder :howler: It's laughable you negate everything proposed here while defending ALL Marotta's moves to death. Try to find middle ground dude.
I really don't remember which players I called shitty, but I have serious doubts over Jovetic since he's been suffering from long term injuries over the last few years. He's been sidelined for more than a year while played for Fiorentina. I've never defended Pereyra, who I believe is nothing more than a decent bench alternative, versatile player, depth signing, loan at this point, neither did I defend all Marotta's movements, but when people exaggerate all the time I guess it might seem that way.

Only today

Like every champion he needs period of adaptation. He'll come good in the end. Genuine game changer this one.

That's a very likely scenario at this point.

I still remember a Coppa game when Jovetic literally raped them.

I always had a soft spot for him, ever since his Partizan days. Too bad he's having troubles with injuries because he's a wonderful player. I'd even try to sign him here. Seeing him behind Tevez would be fap worthy experience.
:agree:

I'd resign Osvaldo purely because he hates Icardi.

He'd actually be a pretty good Tevez replacement once Tevez leaves at the end of next season.I mean realistically speaking atleast.

MC are havng troubles with FFP and they cant spend more wages than at the end of summers transfer window, so every player city buys, they have to sell another or loan out with 100% of wages compensated by that club. thats why they are loaning out stuff, not because they want them to play regularly.

and media reports bony will have the wages of nastasic, that being a significant decrease, but bony accepted that in pursuit of glory.

apparently city are to be investigated further for their finances as their actual loss may be a lot more than published

as for bony, not sure what glory he will have by playing 2nd fiddle to aguero... king of the bench i guess

How much are they paying for Bony ? They've already reached their limit of 60m expenditure for the season as far as i know.
35M, they will have 29M still to spend in te summer. i think 64m limit is for calendar year, not for the season, because the rules are general, and the seasons and transfer windows vary

Loan + obligation to buy for 35m ? Cos thats the only way they can afford him.

They paid 40m for Mangala and 15m for Fernando last summer. So they've pretty much reached the limit for the season.
