He didn't actually say that, that wasn't the context anyway. It was more like "I have young players with little experience but ready to help the team" or something like that. It doesn't mean he'll play them. Look at Llorente - Morata example. No matter how bad Llorente is, Morata pretty much never gets to start.
I think we should keep in mind that if he drops Llorente out of the first team squad he'll become unsellable. The situation with Llorente is pretty fucked up right now because he is playing terribly, he is on high wages and he is unwanted by other teams. I can totally understand why Allegri wants to give him as much playing time as possible, but if Fernando continues to disappoint Allegri will accept that he must be benched for the sake of the team.

That was mostly Pato with injuries and they also invested in Pazzini the same year. He just beat Robinho to the punch too.
I'm going from what i remember.El Shaarawy never got a chance in his first year when they had Ibra,Cassano,Boateng,Pato and Robinho ahead of him.Even Maxi Lopez got more chances IIRC.
The following season,Ibra and Cassano were sold,Pato was on the treatment table,Robinho declined drastically which left him with not many options in attack.
Not taking away the credit from Allegri for contributing to El Shaarawy's development but circumstances also played a big role in his breakthrough.Much like how Marchisio brokethrough at Juve which came down to lack of quality in midfield and/or injuries.

Allegri is not that good with youngsters, people say that because he played SES and MDS at midtable Milan with lots of injuries. Allegri is afraid of playing youngsters because he knows he has to win something here and Roma is very close. I'm not criticizing him but just stating a fact. He talks a lot and then does it the other way.
Ses was actually given good number of games in Serie A, even when they had players like Ibra. He participated in more than 20 games during 2011/12 season, their last season before they became irrelevant for Scudetto challenge. Overall, counting in Coppa and CL, youngster played close to 30 games.

I'd love for us to get Nastasic, fuck Rolando.

Jojo would be amazing though.
That's the wave fareal. Double deal that shit.

You got a point but you also have to factor in the player's talent and copping with the press of stepping up to the plate.

This is where we disagree then. No matter what if we decide to sell Llorente we'll get rid of him for peanuts. We shouldn't worry about those things because at the end of the season we will be left empty handed. If a player sucks he should hit the bench and that'd be about it for me.

OK, good you checked it up. It doesn't change too much anyway because that way Conte promoted Pogba to the first team and no one here claims he was good with youngsters. I'm not taking away from Max the success with SES, it's definitely his but let's don't act like he's some kind of youngster hero and expert. In fact his eagerness to bring in Sneijder proves he's nothing but average with youngsters and he's no different to Conte who never was praised for his work with youngsters.

Ok, but even if we sell him for peanuts - who will pay his wages - 100 000 + euro a week. We have to sell him to a club which can afford to pay his wages too or he won't leave until his contract expires.

I dont get your point. Are you trying to say that the management are insisting on Allegri playing Llorente every game so as to make sure that his market value doesnt dip ? Is that what you're trying to say ? If so,i dont agree with that at all.

This is what we should worry about now? Really? He sucks and he should sit on the bench IMO. I like him but he's not doing enough this season. Winning scudetto and getting through BVB should be our priorities not Llorente's wages.

I would take the risk with balo with low 10m optional buy, and 2m wages. Cant be much worse than llorente anyway. I think juve is maybe the only place balo could blossom at this stage.

A deal between Schalke, Nastasic and City seems to be very near..the announcement of his signing is expected today..loan with obligation to buy for 13m€.

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jan/07/matija-nastasic-sign-schalke-manchester-city

CEO Heldt on Sport1 yesterday: "The end of the negotiations is near and it looks very promising. The ink is not on the contract though, so we cannot announce an execution. We are optimistic, that we r going to loan the player. There are still some details to solve."

DiMatteo really pushed hard for his "dream" signing.

Why would you do this? The guy is a nutjob. I can't see him remaining consistent anywhere.

This is my guess only.
Allegri should be least concerned with that. And i dont think this management are the kind to play politics here when it comes to Allegri's choice of players or tactics. If so,we wouldnt be looking for an AM right now.

For me,these Italian coaches are too fond of strikers who are able to play with their back facing the goal.It happened under Del Neri who dint want Amauri sold for the exact same reason. We saw that with Prandelli selecting Amauri for a couple of NT games for those reasons. We saw this under Conte too.Maybe Allegri is just one among them.He deems Llorente as a better fit for his tactics but the problem is he isnt playing well and most importantly not scoring. So in such cases, you ought to move to option B and i think its hightime.

Balotelli is the new Cassano that will be linked with us every transfer window and there will be lots of members saying that Juve is the place for him to show his potential and calm down.
