Beckenbauer on Shaqiri : " Bayern have already given some indications, he can leave Bayern Munich during the winter transfer window. Personally, i want players who want to stay here with us, for me if a player doesn’t want to be here then it’s right he goes to another club." - Sky

Bayern want 15m. Loan of 2m with redemption in june is possible - GDM

:beppe: is interested
While it's a forgone conclusion that Shaqiri will transfer pretty soon, naming Beckenbauer as a source's is just a joke.
The Kaiser doesn't know a thing about transfers etc. and he's only a honorary president for the club, representing it abroad.

If Shaqiri would cost 2M in January for a 6 month loan followed by an option to buy in June for 13/15M...I think it is quite a good deal for us
I doubt his loan would be for only 2 mil. Gladbach got 1.5 mil for a 6 month loan of bench player Luuk de Jong from Newcastle. Bayern will certainly ask for more and rather sell him outright.

It wouldn't be a real loan, more like pay 2 million now and 13/15 million in summer.

So basically a glorified transfer with installments.

Guys before going all in for Shaqiri let's think....

What we need?
Where we need stronger?
we need a sure starter or more deep?

and then i ask for is it logic to invest 14m on Pereyra which is our CAM? and then invest 18-20m on Shaqiri and bench Pereyra?

Dunno i'd rather invest in a world class striker and a good CB/LB.

Nowdays the teams that wins in Europe are those who have attacking players capable of changing the game with pace, dribbling and shooting. Tevez is good but not awesome. Llorente is so-so, Giovinco is crap, Coman too young and Morata shoudn't be a starter but a sub.
So honestly i'd sell Llorente and find a world class striker and invest all we have there.

Why shouldn't Morata be a starter? and as far as lb, we will continue with Evra and most likely find a young player to develop.

Shaqiri isn't going to play the same positions as Pereyra, don't worry.
