Do we give young players a chance though? It makes sense for us to go for someone like Meyer as he would be cheaper than an older established player but at the same time we don't even give enough chances to Coman at the moment. I just worry that we either go for youth, rarely play them then loan them out (Pogba excluded), or we buy older established or freebies and hope they can regain form or still offer something.

I personally would like to see Berardi join, start playing Coman more often now and even bring in a player like Meyer. All would be useful and we could offload the likes of Giovinco and Pepe in the squad.

How about this guy as our main Attacking mid? Schalke is having a horrible season and might let him go for the right price. I watched him doing some excellent stuff last season.
How about this guy? As if there would be the slightest chance for Juve to get Meyer :lol2:

He is an absolute top talent and Schalke would never ever agree to sell him..especially not for cheap..the fans would run riot. Draxler costs 42m€ and Avdijaj 45m€. Meyer is the biggest talent of them so figure out how much he would cost.

He is a Bayern fan and in a few years he ll play there. Juve zero chance.

Italy in general isnt attractive for German top talents so stop wasting your time.

Prepare yourself for another Nostradamus lecture and his condescension of how this player wouldn't have any intention to move to Serie A, and that we're far from being an attractive side to lure that kind of talent here.

Didn't watch much of Bundesloliga this season, well it's been ages since I've seen a game (excluding Dortmund-Bayern) from there. This guy any good? What kind of player is he? Characteristics?
Oops..saw it after my post :)

Juve target trequartista

Massimiliano Allegri’s decision to change to a 4-3-1-2 formation has caused Juventus to reportedly target a playmaker in the transfer market.

The Bianconeri have played with a 3-5-2 formation almost exclusively for the past three seasons, but changed to a back four for Tuesday’s 3-2 victory over Olympiacos.

Calciomercato.it are now suggesting that a trequartista is the final piece of the Juventus jigsaw and that four names have been identified as possible targets.

The website reports that the Old Lady will predominantly target Xherdan Shaqiri of Bayern Munich or Javier Pastore of Paris Saint-Germain with two young players also on the radar.

Shaqiri has rarely been given a starting spot at Bayern this season, only making three starting appearances between the Bundesliga and Champions League, potentially leaving the Swiss player open to a move.

Similarly, Pastore is seen as having struggled to settle at PSG, and Calciomercato believes the former Palermo player could be available for around €18m.

Should the Bianconeri be rebuffed in their efforts to sign either player, the Turin side could turn to youth.

Dennis Praet of Anderlecht is reportedly highly regarded by the Juventus hierarchy, and would come relatively cheap at less than €10m.

Similarly, Hakan Calhanoglu of Bayer Leverkusen has impressed with five goals in 18 games this season and could be a target for the Serie A champions.
@chester its like you predicted it

You guys should stop acting as if every garman Talent Is the next cr7..... Arnorld ruediger and Co are no better than bonucci or immobile... Still i agree Most of them would refuse an italian team

why would they refuse Juventus? Do they think everybody will end up in Bayern, Real, Barca or Chelsea?

before season began I said going with 4-3-1-2 is the best way to go. Some laughed and said we'll never do it. Zach said we're implementing 4-2-3-1.

In your faces. In-your-faces.

it depends on what player(s) we want to add. with a pair of wingers (+ Coman, Pereyra and Berardi), 4-2-3-1 would be the best. if we add an AM then we'll use the 4-3-1-2/4-3-2-1. we'll see what our management is planing...

Financially, maybe, but compared to Wolfsburg, I think he would consider the switch if we would be interested.
thats the point Nostradamus doesent want to realize. he thinks no-one (well, atleast German players) playing for a half decent BL side would want to come to Italy. that is not true ofcourse. in the case of De Bruyne i think he means that Wolfsburg is a rich club backed by VW and that they have no intention of selling their best player. we'll see how that will end...
