Insigne? Pass. He's an overrated midget - another Giovinco in the making. Besides he gave an interview some time ago he'd never move to Juve.

Let's go after Mertens or Callejon :beppe:

I'd give Insigne a shot. He is very young, and I think has more natural offensive talent than Giovinco. He hates playing in Napoli right now because the fans are really giving it to him. He apparently begged Benitez to leave. He is also playing in an unnatural position. He is playing as a midfielder rather than an attacker in a 4-2-3-1. He has stated he doesn't think his position suits him, and is better in a 4-3-3. IMO he's gotta play either as a second striker, or LW in a 4-3-3.

You wouldn't take him and Giovinco though, you'd need to sell Giovinco.

Compared to Giovinco, he seems more explosive, a better distance shooter, and more of a pure attacker. His criticism seems to be his finishing. It may be more of a mentality thing though since his shooting is actually very impressive.

I'm sure he'd come to Juve to get out of Napoli - his hero is ADP...

Can't be dealing with another tiny forward who NEEDS to play in a certain position and is very inconsistent at finishing

How long before we boo him off the park too? As we did with Giovinco, so much so that Conte was criticising the fans for doing so. This is just Giovinco 2.0 in almost every way.

I can stomache a tiny forward that needs to be played a certain positiob, if his talent is worth it.

Giovinco and insigne are far from that.

The very few tiny midgets out there who play at the highest level are ridiculously talented

Yeah if the player in question was clinical, aggressive enough to hold their own at times I.E Tevez who can often make mince meat of a defender twice his size and has world class technique then it's fine

But for all intents and purposes, Insigne and Giovinco are pretty talented players, but definitely not talented enough or freakishly quick enough to compensate for their small size.

Some people who want him now, would be wanting him sold or permanently benched after he loses the ball 10 times in a row after getting casually brushed aside by a 35 year old journeyman defender purely because he's much larger.

Juventus target Tomas Pochettino is waiting for the Italian citizenship, meanwhile he scored a free kick: here’s the video

Tomas Pochettino is almost ready to become a Juventus player. Boca Juniors’ Argentinian midfielder scored a free kick in the last game against River Plater in quinta division. Juventus are expected to complete the acquisition soon. He should be able to obtain the Italian citizenship in a couple of weeks thanks to his Piedmontese origins. After that, barring some surprises, he will arrive in Italy to join Juventus. He’ll move in January, Juvenuts are already in talks with Sassuolo for the loan.
