Schär: 'Inter, Milan or Juve'

Fabian Schär said he’s ready to leave Basel and “couldn’t say no to top clubs like Inter, Milan and Juventus.”

The 22-year-old Swiss defender will be out of contract in June 2015 and appears to have no intention of renewing his deal.

“Basel are open to negotiations, but at this moment I have decided that I want to concentrate on my performances,” Schär told Blick.

“I went through a difficult period and it wasn’t the right time to discuss my renewal. I don’t want to be worrying about that now.

“My dream remains to have an experience abroad. I’ve always said that if the opportunity presented itself, I would take it, obviously in agreement with Basel.

“I need a team with important prospects. I’d like the Bundesliga, Premier League or top Italian clubs like Inter, Milan and Juventus. I couldn’t say no.

“I want to hear all my options and consider them carefully. There was some contact in the summer, but nothing serious.”
We need to get this guy. Young and we are going to need a rcb

I'm a little suprised we aren't being mentioned with Klopp. His Dortmund are free falling in Bundesliga and he's that perfect type of coach for Juve. Ambitious, attack-minded, great with young players, different from what we're used to.

If he continues to struggle at Dortmund, Marotta should consider reaching out to him quick quick.

Edit: and with his relationship with Reus already cemented, what would be a more perfect gift to Klopp than to gift him Reus in the summer window to convince him to come. He's already stated he doesn't want Reus to leave but Dortmund might be helpless to hold him. Let Klopp come to Juve and bring Reus with him.

I'm fine with just getting Klopp, we need a top coach more then we need a top player, even if Reus would be a dream.

yeah, let's sign Morganella instead. :pepedinho:
someone like shaqiri , schurrle, gaitan, konoplayanka would do the trick. young players who can improve by playing with us. these will be Vidal type of investments because these players are very good but are waiting to become world class.. schurrle would be the safest bet as he is already proved himself with germany.
