Sanchez turned down Liverpool.

Pathetic career? He already has 4 goals for Arsenal. You seriously think Wenger will leave his 40m man on the bench to rot? It's called integrating someone into a team and training them in your style of play. Sanchez is certainly capable of playing the quick passing game Wenger wants. I'm willing to bet money right now that Alexis starts for Arsenal tomorrow night in the Champions League and again at the weekend against Chelsea.

Wenger has just lost the plot, has nothing to do with Alexis who is still a fine player.
Arsenal won't let him go. Ever since I moved to London, Arsenal fans have been bombarding me with Sanchez stories; how good he is and that he's going to help them win the league...

Wenger is happy playing his football brand for the next 25 years, and the board are happy with the money from a top 4 finish. Being an Arsenal fan actually sucks balls because they are going nowhere.

Alexis is a team player but maybe his style isn't quite what Arsenal usually have, he's very direct.

True. But it was Barcelona who needed the deal to happen. Sanchez could have just done a Iaquinta.
His agent should have looked at what teams that suit him, could make an offer for him, and then have Sanchez refuse the Arsenal one.

But instead of doing that, they just took the big lump of cash from Arsenal, in the arseanal, and be happy with the cash and the soon to be pathetic career of sanchez

We need good wingers, and we need them badly. We are toothless in the final third against a compact defense like Atletico's, it was the same thing against Benfica. Our play in the final third is way too predictable since we don't have any quick wingers.

Is it a surprise? Some here (including me) have been asking for wingers for over two years now.

This team has horrible mental issues in Europe and attitude overall. It's possible to change that but we'd have to hire a foreign coach. Italian ones are all the same cowards. No decent WC coach in Italy since Ancelotti and Lippi. Other than that the 352 has to go. It's a stone age formation which makes our play slow and ineffective.

This is hopefully the idea behind Morata. Pace and good technique and dribbling. He really should have started today with Llorente in such bad form. It's pathetic that we had 64% possession and only 5 attempts towards goal, not a single on goal. Llorente is not the man for such matches.

It's like he has an urge to explain us everything, and his theory is the only true one out there.

The best part is when we "misunderstand" him when he contradicts himself.

Vidal usually offers an offensive threat. He didnt. Our midfield failed us. We needed Pirlo atleast throughout the entire second half.

A lot on here think Pirlo is finished and can't offer anything. I don't know how good he would have been last night against Atletico, but he sure as hell will be needed throughout the season at some point.

Him starting last night would most likely have forced Atletico a bit further up the pitch. As it was yesterday, there was almost no pressure on Marchisio.b

There is absolutely no indication that Pirlo has declined. For the past 3 seasons he has been absolutely instrumental to all our attacking play not to mention the matches he wins for us through free kicks.

People here were saying that marchisio has already replaced him not because marchisio is as talented as pirlo or because pirlo has declined but rather because they want to believe that we have his replacement ready.

Pirlo should start as long as he is fit and healthy. The two world class players that stand out in this team are Pirlo and Vidal. These are our main assets. Benching one of them prematurely is to waste our main assets.

I doubt any CM can deal with being pressured or can ease the pressure off of his team mates the way Pirlo can. Marchisio is better at winning the ball. Pirlo is better at movement on and off the ball, pass accuracy and vision.

Our passing would have been a lot better going forward rather than Xavisque. Useless possession doesnt get worse than yesterday

It's hard to say because IIRC Mandzukic has historically made life miserable for Pirlo.

Regardless, one area that he could have made a difference:
On that FK that Pogba took.

Najar is a 22-year old RW who can also play RB if necessary.
he has been given a chance last season in Anderlecht's first team and has performed on a high level, almost constantly.
He has great work rate, does his attacking work as well as his defensive work.
Doesn't complain, real team player.
Is he good enough for Juve, I think yes, he has what it takes to make it and has the right mentality.
He is also international for his country, Honduras.
I like the guy.
