I wonder what a champions league victory would do for turnover. Other than the obvious broadcast dollars, I'd be curious whether it would do much in terms of merchandise sales and maybe give the team more freedom to raise ticket prices...

At this point i'd go for Lavezzi and Shaqiri

Lavezzi has a few years in him, he possesses the qualities we so badly lack upfront, as does Shaq to a certain excent.

Both have fallen out with their clubs, both would be affordable and neither will be courted by the financial powerhouses.

Right away we have a new dynamic to our game, buy 1 cheap rotation winger (I'm assuming we have none in the primavera) and Coman can fill in wherever needed too


Sell Llorente, Tevez as the main man with Morata as back up will do just fine in a 4-3-3/4-3-2-1

If we do intend on spending some decent money, i'd love to see us go after Marcelo or RidRod for the LB position, sell Ogbonna unless he really impresses in a back 4 this season and bring in Rugani if he stays on course for a good season.

That's not even THAT expensive, and if we want to improve our team now we can't do so chasing shoe string budget players. In the past few seasons you could make a case for improving our depth, that has been done multiple times now, no more fucking about. If we can't afford the likes of Shaqiri then we're just being cheap bastards.

RiRo ll extend his contract soon.it is expected that a buyout clause for 2017 ll be implemented.

Hoffenheim wont sell Firmino in winter..no chance. In summer he could be sold, but good luck to fight with several top clubs to get him.
