One thing I was thinking about was Van Der Vaart. I'm kind of mixed on it. He is clearly in decline, and not the player he was, but he is out of contract at season end. He could probably be had on a loan for next to nothing. The risk is ~1-2MM EUR for the loan for half a year on a player who isn't cup-tied. Best case he performs and can play as the CAM in our 4-3-1-2, and add value in the knockout stage. Worst case, he is a waste of 1-2MM EUR. He also happens to be a left footed shot, which gives us two very dangerous players from both sides on set-pieces. He could also probably suit the right-sided inside forward position if he performs, but thats a big if...
1) You don't want van der Vaart, you just don't. He's slow, injury prone(always misses games every couple weeks) and not that good anymore.

2) He won't be available for a loan and I doubt they'll give him away right now as they try to stay up.
They're also sponsored by a billionaire named Kühne who sponsored them the licence for the Bundesliga(loaned out some 20 mil euros) and always hands them money to buy some guys on top of it.

So the only way you'd get him is if you'd overpay and he's just not worth it.

So better play Coman(even though he makes some mistakes) instead of getting another over the hill player like Evra.

Good enough for me, but some people here seem to think short of signing Robben and Ribery it's not worth using a winger or 2 when the reality is any decent wide attacker would be infinitely more useful to us than Licht and Asamoah in the damn final 3rd

Sky Italia reports that Bayern have reached an agreement with Gaudino to extend the contract. Juve and Milan were among clubs interested to sign him.

Bayern ll soon announce it I guess, but maybe they wait until winter break.

yeah, he would do well creating chances for us. Also, tevez would maybe not have to drop back as far in to the mid and can therefore be freed up to help llorente. Lavezzi is a certainty interms of what we would get from him and would not cost a fortune.
