My reasons for wanting him to lose are in fact mostly to do with the fans who shout "come on tim" every point and cheer double faults by the opponent. The BBC who go on about him even when he's out, and build him up when he is clearly not good enough to win it. The fact that he gets the easisest draw every year and then people say "he deserved to be seeded high because he made the quarters" when the only reason he got there was because of the fixed draw.

this sucks! although i'm not that fascinated by the sport i was supporting mark phil. for some years now. shame he lost that final.

but i think that he might be able to win the us open. at least that's what i hope.
