Why a new logo? They'll just incorporate a fourth star. Either ways I preferred the earlier logo. No, not because it had three stars, only because of the Italian badge and stars being segregated.

I think they have to change it. The FIGC motif totally plays off of one star for each of the tri-color stripes. It's going to need a redesign to accommodate a fourth.

Clocking in at about a year, this is going to be the FIGC's shortest living logo of all time.

Because the Italians generally show a little more design taste than to butcher a three-star design to accommodate a fourth.

If you look at the logo (not the best copy, but you get the idea):



your only choices would be to jam another star above the FIGC swirl -- and thus create a design imbalance with multiple stars per tricolor strip. If they had three stars running across the top, they could have pulled a Brazil. But in this case, each star is married to each of the tricolor bands -- it fails.

Mark my words. The design is f*%#$ed and the Italians will redo it for four stars.

ya i guess but then your going to have to redo it when and if you win again and it will be an on going thing.

i dont think they will redo it i just think they will change the stars around. i personally would like it if the stars where put in each side of the swirl. something like this

i couldnt think up a different design to have 4 stars on it. no matter what design you come up with it will still look awkard because 4 stars isnt easy to design around.

I could see a slight modification on it to accommodate it just as you noted. They'd have to move those icons around and resize the tricolor strips -- so they'd get a better symmetry among the stars. At which point, you'd argue that they might start over though.

:wth: I'm debating logos on this forum. :p

Well, this one guy I met last night better hope they just add a star on top of the middle one. He got it tattood on his leg last week :lol2:

Another thought, what will Juve do when we get our 3rd star (10 coppa italias) and it's not much till we get a fourth (30 lo scudettos)
