we simply have to remember that running a football club is a business and he cnt just go around splashing cash or the shareholders and the board wud have his ass. at the end of the day like it was said in earlier post the clubs finances are in decent shape. as much as i hate to admit football is just a business now and whether or not the club wins trophies is second to profit made by the club, so whether moggi likes it or not he has to work towards this goal and is not really allowed to splash the cash
Keeping the books in balance is one thing, but disregarding an obvious weakness is another.

What Moggi does best is buying top players for bargain prices. Cannavaro, Emerson, Ibrahimovic, Zebina, Legrottaglie and Appiah were all very good deals at the time. He does make some mistakes (Di Vaio € 30M) but he mostly get the players we want for half the price.

yeh but andy he can only buy witht the money he is given and the best players cost more money, so i think its the people above who need to loosen the purse strings and they should be blamed

the people above, i.e. Agnellis, have always been there for Juve by donating and investing money. We cannot be ignorant to the fact that they are trying to fix FIAT motor group, because if they do not fix FIAT they won't be able to manage Juve in the future... And to tell you the truth, I wouldn't wany anyone to be the owner of Juve beside them.

Okay people that is allright what have you said but lets not foreget Giraudo and Bettega. I read once that Moggi, Giraudo and Bettega are best players that Juve have and as long as they around Juve will be safe.

I would rather have Moggi than not. Having said that, our lack of successes in European competition can be attributed to one thing: lack of depth in the squad. Moggi has always done gone for practicality over emotion. But as long as that is the case, we're going to need to have a completely injury free season to lift the CL. Year in and year out, we're almost always in the running for the scudetto, that eventually filters in to the stamina of the squad as far as europe goes. And more often than not, Moggi gets a couple of good players to the team, but slacks off as far as backups are concerned. And that was more than evident, in both legs against Liverpool. To make things worse, we're leading the Serie A table yet again, which is sure to blindfold Moggi in to believing, the squad is adequate, when in all honesty, it is not.
