I think so too. I don't know what I want though. The only team I really like now is Uruguay, but on the other hand they'd be such poor world champions it would look kind of funny.

why poor? their forward line has been impressive, Diego Perez is one of the players of the tournament, their backline looks immense, they have a very good TEAM there

If Forlan is your biggest star, you make for a sad world champion. Perhaps it sounds odd, but I've always liked the big clashes. Germany-England, Italy-Brazil.. stuff like that. Uruguay have a solid team, but it would still be a fluke.

I really hate opinions like these. If we're going to give these teams some sort of scumbag entitlement, there's no reason to have the World Cup the way it is today. Just include those that have won it before and be done with it.

I said it earlier this week and I'll say it again that Forlan (in this world cup) is the closest it gets to Totti or Del Piero. For some reason he reminds me of those technical Italian stars from the mid 90's-early 2000's.

Your point was different, I know, but I had to share again my impression of Forlan :D
He's been great. Technical, cool, leader, amazing free kicks, entertaining.

And even so, Uruguay would be in the World Cup just to upset Seven.

I think Forlan is brilliant and I had Uruguay down as one of the outsiders before the tournament even started. Uruguay have every right be in this World Cup and they are a great team.

But I think you understood my point :D
