I remmember the protests in london , millions of people were in the streets to protest against participating in iraq war and asking for troops to go home , and saying that blair did not tell them the truth about it .
then after that he was elected again with no trouble at all.
how that happened ? cause this is the cause of what happend in london 3 weeks ago ?
Firstly... there was never millions of people in the protest march, it was a couple of hunred thousand.
The more important question... Why shouldnt he be re elected??
What jus cause of one issue he should be ousted... one issue in foreign affairs? one issue that does not have any bearing on whether he has done well at his job... running our country!
Has he not been a decent pm ?
Fact is he hasnt done bad... the country is in far better shape than when he came in and who are the alternatives?
The tories ?
Who allthough they like to bang on about iraq... they openly admited they would have done the same and gave full support to labour at the time...
The Tories ?
Who are much more hard lined on most issues than labour
Who led this country into recession
Who were at election time led by a man who in essence is a figure of national disgust...
A party in dissaray for the last 10 or so years...
A party who wish to raise the taxes for the working class...
A party that offer nothing to this country that labour dont...
A party that the majority know will lead this country into misery if re elected?
A party whose main policies are ever closer to labours... the gap is ever closing... so why change to a party without a leader... At least people know where they are with blair and who in the main like gordon brown and will welcome him with open arms when he steps into tony's shoes...
So again i ask... Why shouldnt he have been re-elcted ??
