Hmm, I don't think so tbh. I think Rijkaard will step in, where would they field Deco, really? they have enough offensive midfielders. We on the other hand, could really use someone like Deco (Rosicky would be good too).

Ujfalusi has the best name on the planet, and is a very impressive defender.

zanetti?? we might as well sign panucci.

And you think we won't sign Panucci? Capello loves Zanetti and well dont be surprised to see Tomassi been linked as well, even if I would much prefer De Rossi to anyone

I am getting a bit suspicious and annoyed with all the transfer talk as nothing makes the food go the wrong way than to read headlines like Juve are interested in Wiltord, Kallon, Panucci, Zanetti etc

Why can't it be Ballack, Rosicky, Nuno Valente and his mate Carvalho, Drogba, Etoo , Lahm and players of that ilk?

    Udinese: Juve want Marek
    Monday 28 June, 2004

Udinese have confirmed that Juventus are interested in Marek Jankulovski but an agreement has yet to be reached.

"Juventus are keen but there is nothing concrete at this moment in time," stated Udinese director general Pierpaolo Marino.

Various reports had suggested that a deal could be wrapped up this week between the two clubs.

Newspaper talk claimed that Udinese would accept cash and the services of Under-21 international Matteo Brighi in exchange.

However, Marino insists that the left-sided player could still end up at a variety of clubs across Europe.

"I have no meeting scheduled at this time to meet with Juventus’ Luciano Moggi," added Marino.

"Others clubs have made bids too and we’ll soon see what happens. We’ve always said that we would wait until after Euro 2004 before making a definite decision."
