He'd be a huge upgrade over what we have. Would definitely take him.

Actually for Arsenal i'd choose Essien over Messi too. For two reasons:

1) When everybody's fit, our offense is rather strong

2) We have no real ball winner in midfield, and that has been the biggest reason for our downfall more times than once this season.


But when i think in Juve's context. You guys have Momo who is a monster tackler, and the upcoming Marchisio. I do think you're out of your mind when you choose Essien over Messi

They would be in mine. Man U will still do great I think without CRonaldo.

Man U can do without Ronaldo in big games. To be fair, I find him to be better this season than last season because there is an improvement in the games against the strong teams, although he has scored less this term. Putting Park or Nani in wouldn't make such a big difference. In the league though, Man U needs to put away the easy games and that is what Ronaldo is very good at.

I like Poulsen. He was the one who made the long pass to Iaquinta to assist in the first goal isn't it? However, many fans are asking him to leave and Arsenal needs a DM, so I popped the question.

If I was purchasing based upon our current needs (but with the fantasy twist, of course), it would be Douglas Maicon - simply because RB is our worst position, and I haven't seen another RB who I rate higher than Maicon ATM. Too bad he plays for our nemesis...

Otherwise, if it's just for an out and out fantasy purchase, it's Messi... all day, everyday. He's definitely taking the Ballon D'Or this season... and he's still 21.
