Evaluate him after the season, Its pretty clear that he is exactly what we need in the midfield though.
Yesh he is, but what will happen if we paid those 16 million and the guy keeps missing half the season (just like with Roma or even liverpool). That would be huge blow to us.

And for that kind of money (perhaps a bit more) there are other options out there.

quality wise,we would be incredibly lucky to unearth a player of Aqualianis quality for that price anywhere else. since he got fit we have not had a single problem with him,we have been able to rest him due to him being cup-tied in Euorpe and this is probably how he will spend his career, except he will sit out games against the likes of Chievo, etc to keep him fresh and not burn him out.

it is not wise to play a midfielder every game and with good management i think Aqualiani will not have the continual niggles that followed him at Roma and ruined his Liverpool career, keeping him is a no-brainer

Aquilani is our best signing after Krasic IMO. Given the rebirth of Melo and Aqua's composure our midfield looks reJUVEnated compared to last season, therefore I'd keep him. Plus his fee is to be paid over three years.

We should go to Liverpool this January with 10 mill and say take it right now and make him permanent. They can use the money to buy a player and we get off 5 millions.

:disagree: that would be Quagliarella. There were games where aquilani was brilliant in and others were he was just average or even below average. In a way he reminds me of his performance during his time with Roma.

Too many ups and downs in his game.

this reminds me of zidane at real madrid

he was eighter brilliand, or bad, according to their fans and spanish media

however, when he wasent in the team, their level of play dropped down dramatically

same with aqua here, sometimes he plays brilliand and does all sort of things
other games, he's just beeing decent, giving the team a surplus but not noticabale from subjective point of view

in the eurocrapleague, it was very clear how much we missed him

aquilani with the 1st position ...i'd better play melo and sissoko and get one good lw than keeping him for 16 mils
Do you think Sissoko is better than Aquilani?

Oh wait, now you would want me to answer you a question before you would answer mine.

read the whole post not just a fragment then talk to me...imo aquilani doesn't deserve 16 mils...you could buy a lw like krasic for that amount of money.

Does he think Sissoko is good at all?
I don't now what he thinks, he has an attitude nowadays, he does not answer questions unless you answer his questions before. He returns favours.

But from what I read in his post is that he would rather play Memo - Melo than keep Aquilani.
