you know i rememver earlier in the season i had a bit of a pop at thuram and got shot down in flames, his pace was always a great assett but now he is losing it his effectiveness as a defender has diminished, i honestly feel that canavarro would be a better captain and if canna was out we would be horribly exposed

Thuram is no better captain than anyone, I would agree Cana would be an ideal choice or even zambro. Afterall usually its the man whose been at the club the longest that gets to wear it.

the players would respect zambro more
and he's more to an all round player going up and defending and thus influences the team more evrywhere
