I think that Appiah was a mistake. Making Davids feel bad so that he left was also a mistake.

Lippi liking his old boys really annoys me. I bet you, that's why we didn't buy anyone in January. Lippi was confident that his "old school" (Montero, Iuliano, Tudor, Tachinardi, Zambrotta, Del Piero) are as good as they were 5 years ago.

Well, Moggi announced that no major sellings will take place, which leads to no major purchases cause this year we made no money... so all of this year's squad will be running in our blue television screens next year as well.

    Congratulations, dear Moggi

If you have a problem with reying on our "old school" players, then buying Appiah was a good thing because he's young and promising. And just as a side note, Zambrotta is bettter than he was five years ago.

ive seen pedretti 3 or 4 times, i can tell u he is very good, and smart on the field, he chooses the right passes and dribbles well, he is quite similar to deshamps...

He is a type of playmaker but defensive minded,he is good in defence and also he can create. He is the type of player that we need IMO because we lack craetive central midfielders. He has a great long pass and he is good free kick taker . He was compared to Platini when he was starting his first seasons in ligue 1,but he has a different role and now he is more like Didier Deshamps,so great player.. I saw a Tv programme about him and he seems to be intelligent not only on the field.
wow...he's like Pirlo of France? hehehehhe:D
its rare to see a playmaker with a defensive minded rite?
but never heard of his name though

Pendir, i see where you are from. its no secret that lippi thinks its 1998 again.

so many players are past it now and they should not have been relied upon.

i still have faith in some players, but others are just so bad right now it makes you think why lippi even persists with them.

we'll get in new players. we'll have to sell some big names to do so, but i think in the end getting younger stars is the way to go. even if it means not winning something again next season. we have to build for future now.

yeah....building the base or core seems to be the perfect idea now...our core is already ageing and replacement need to be groom but the supporters need to be patient cos building the team might make us not win anything next season!!

Appiah was a mistake because what he's shown in Brescia (other than his 5-6 goals) and especially in Parma and Udinese would not have made him a successful Juve player (in my opinion). He will spend his entire next year on the bench. It was a mistake from the very beginning, and David's lack of playing time also btw.

My problem with the "old school" players is not the fact that they are still with the club, it is the fact no money is spent on the NEW players, because of the notion is that "the old team will do the job". And Lippi is the only one to blame. He thinks of the players of Juventus- 1998 model as his children. He could have INSISTED this January to buy new players- but he didn't. Him and Moggi like keeping things the way they are...

i've only seen very limited snippets of pedretti,so i can't really judge how good he is.

however if we're going for a french playmaker then all i have to reccomend is giuly.:thumb:

Blasi WOOOOW yes lets all jump up and down with joy, we are getting such a fantastic player .................. no.

Blasi is not hte solution to our midfield...unless he show some serious talent in the future, he isnt the best option we could have, same goes for the underperforming brighi. If they wanna play for juve they should start showing talent. (blasi when he can)

Imo pedretti would be a better buy than our blasi, mainly due to the fact he runs sochaux, he dictate the whole team, and is imo a good player, that still needs time to mature similar to enzo. Pedrett and enzo would be a funny midfield partenrship, we would have great pasing and shooting, but hopefully pedretti' greater mobility would cover the team.

he is very good siamo, actually he didnt mature yet to become a superstar, but he showed some good skills and brightness, so i guess if he joins juve, he will become a gr8 player....

Pedretti isn't a playmaker. He is more a kind of player like Deschamps!!!

I think he is very good, but we have Tacchi, Appiah and Conte there...
He's got to be better than Tacch and Conte!
