I can't believe how some are comparing Kaka to players like Hernan Crespo in some aspects or talking like we are witness to a flash in the pan (save those comments for Legro and Miccoli please). The reason Kaka is getting this attention is because of his integration into Serie A while players like Nedved waited 10 years to peak or others are in the confines of Serie B or small teams at 21 years old. Anyone remember his first game? He broke the entire midfield and fed Cafu and Sheva up front. It was like he was a veteran of Serie A. Someone spoke of defenders shutting him down...his abilities are more than just scoring goals...
Forget Crespo...forget Nedved .. forget Recoba or whatever lame ass comparison people are trying to throw on him to justify and secure his downfall...
Long range shots only? 5 of his goals were metres from the keeper...
I would like to remind some other "theorists" that the reason Milan WINS and wins big is because of DEPTH and not relying on a few players...in the first half of the season Sheva scored 14 goals.....in the biggest games this season either Maldini or Nesta was missing and players like COSTACURTA came in to sub getting 7.5 marks....The ability of midfielders like Ambronsini, Seedorf and even Rui Costa to score big in big games..the ability of Pancaro to win us games..the ability to play as a team and not blame losses on out of form players.....if you think Milan is about one or two players you REALLY have not been paying attention to this season.
u try too hard

For the record..the only Juve player I would take: Zambrotta....

Put him back in his original position backed up by Pancaro and watch him become one of the best in the World.
Stupid Lippi...

Then, with whom? Maradona, Pele?

Stop dreaming, incubbo, He is having a season, like ronaldinho, but lets see if he shows continuity in the next years...

Dude NOBODY is comparing him to Pele or Maradona....

The problem is that people are looking for a reason that he will not suceed or that he does not deserve the attention he is getting. Usually it is the opposite...21 year old Brazilian "wonder kids" DON'T shine in Serie A nor does any one else until after a few years. The problem is that there is this WEDGE between Milan-Inter-Juve-Lazio-roma....whatever that fans are too envious to admit and enjoy a natural talent. I loved watching Van Basten play...like I loved watching Baggio play with Juve ...like I love watching Cassano-Totti play like I still love seeing Zambrotta play. No WHEN to appreciate things....put the bias 'vision' aside.

Nick, i really like Kakà style and consider him between the best middfilders in Europe today.
I know him personally, and think he is a very nice and honest guy and have tremendous potential .i enjoy his plays, dont even matter that he plays for the megalomaniac silvio...

But lets be objective, he is in his first european season . It is to soon to inthrone him, as your doing .(MAYBE WITH TIME HE RECOVER GOOD TASTE AND ASK TO PLAY FOR JUVE....

You think Zambro would do better at RB than LB? Why? Just curious as I have the opposite opinion.

If I had to start a team and I had only Juve and Milan's rosters to choose from, I have to say that there would be a lot more players from Milan selected than Juve.

The only players I would consider are Buffon and Zambrotta for my starting 11, and possibly DP to partner with Sheva up front.

Unfortunately, I have to concur. Milan certainly has the better players in their position, and they are playing better as a team this year. That's why they are breaking records. Sometimes, that just happens...Moggi got outdone by Bersculoni.

Actually, no. Silvio is not only extreme rich, but very smart. He is invovled in the selection of the team and he works with Ancelotti on the tactic employed. He is a keen footballing, political, and business mind. Honestly, he's among the top names for all of those catagories in the world, and that combination, along with a historically great club and a huge fanbase means that Milan will have success.

Not really..if you get that hamster running you would realize that ONE: he has been Prime Minister more than just this but since 2001.
TWO: he was prime minister in their miserable season of 1995
More over if as you sugggest he were to pull strings for the team ... I think he would do it when the spotlight is not on him and he is facing critics and possible trial. Maybe its just my 'peasantry' notions. More over, you are refering to Galliani. Berlusconi only approves purchases as owner. He is no longer as active as he once was years ago.
