Nedved is/was consistent, Recoba is not.
On the contrary, Nedved was very inconsistent during his first season here.

Recoba may be a tad temperamental, but that's the case with almost every great playmaker out there.

As long as he does the job (which IMHO Recoba certainly can) I don't think it makes a whole lot of difference if he's one-footed or not. And if anything he's more ambidextrous than most.

I really do not see a point in bringing Recoba to Juve when we have Mutu available. Moreover, we have seen what Recoba can do on the left flank for Inter and I have to say he's not really impressed me...he needs to have a free role to flourish which he will not find at Juventus.

I wouldn't take that completely inconsistent Recoba if he was given to us free !!!

Moratti is a big fan of his....doesn't THAT say enough ???!!!

First of all Mutu isn't completely proven in that role; he's only been tested there a couple of times, which isn't much to go by.

We could easily give Recoba a free role like Nedved's had, and given their similarities IMO he'd fit right in. He's also more adept on the left flank than the right, and has a killer shot from range. Not to mention that awesome dead-ball ability.Given our relative dependence on the 02-04 Nedved I'd say the playmaker department is not somewhere we should scrimp on.

Besides what is most lacking in the midfield now is creativity, and where that is concerned Recoba beats Nedved and Mutu hands down.

Hi, I'm Newbie here....I just wanna share my idea, so Mutu.....I think...!!! But, if we can buy new player that have original position as left winger, we should look at him...maybe like Boaz Salossa (I bet you don't know who is this player). He is Persipura player (Indonesia) ^_^

Let Chiellini become a full fledged Left Winger.

He's better offensive anyway.

Mutu is NOT a winger, better as Left sided Forward or just behind the strikers

come on Desmond Mutu plays in this role for Romania. Beside Recoba is highly paid and old. we need someone young and creative, and guys just stop saying that chiellini should play there, he is not creative at all.
we need someone with power and creativity.

Maybe we can try to look at young player.....Recoba can't fill position in left wing since he getting old. Mr. Capello should transfer new young player in this position to backup Nedved.
