I managed to sign the out-of-favor Gael Clichy from Arsenal for about 2 mill and he's been great. Buy him!! There's also a good keeper by the name of Kevin Agius.


Anybody has more experience than I've had (one season) with Roberto Bolzan or Antonio Calderon? Are they worth keeping?

guys,i think i've found a left sided copy of toledo!

he's called marquinho,plays in PSV's reserves and is only 21 years old.i'm currently in my second season and he has 16 for passing,17 for crossing and 20 for dribbling-and he's only valued at around 1.7m!

How did you guys find him?

OK, you might as well play Toledo on the left, and Gasbarroni on the right. Marquinho looks OK, but doesn't improve massively unfortunately.

I found Toledo by running a search with some parameters high.

This time around, he was stuck in Sao Caetano Reserves, and they released him on a free! So I signed him up, gave him a go in the u20s, where he was very handy. Now he is doing fairly well down the flanks in the senior side. I have better players than him, but his versatility makes him a good bench player, a bit like Nedved at the moment.
I can now afford to ditch Kristiansen and Denilson and faze Neddy out.

I got Adriano a couple of seasons ago on a free transfer. Barca and Real both offered me 100 million for him, but I slammed the door in their face. I also just exchanged Djibril Cisse for 22.5 mill + 30 yr old Rosicky.......I feel jipped.

BTW, does anyone else use Gasbarroni as a right winger?

Gasbarroni is a right wing for me. Nothing else.

Oh ok.....I thought most people were using him in a 3-4-3 formation as a forward, behind a lone striker.

Personally, I rarely play lone strikers. And Gasbarroni doesn't have good enough long shots for that position. He has dribbling and crossing 20, making him an ideal winger though.

I used Gasba as a winger.....but he rarely dribble....its kinda funny for a guy who has 20 for his dribbling....

When you create a new game and the add new manager screen comes up go to the Nations and Clubs thing on the left, go to the squad page of the country you want to manage, and in the bottom right hand corner you should see 'take control'.

Personally, I think Mariano Gonzalez is a superior winger to Gasbarroni. But he costs far far too much usually. In one game I managed to get him for about £5m. No idea how. Racing must have been enduring some financial hardships.
