Btw, Statravel.com sells Around-the-World package trips and the quotes I got on it weren't that outrageous, contrary to what I had always imagined. They let you create your own itinerary and they give you a quote.
Just randomly choosing these destination got me a quote for ca $3,500 which isn't bad (You have to be a college student to get these prices):
NYC - Buenos Aires - Rio de Janeiro - Madrid - Cairo - New Delhi - Bangkok - Sidney - Auckland - Los Angeles - Washington D.C.
The total price (tickets+spending+living) could dramatically drop if you limit your trip to S. America, Africa, and Eastern Asia. The Matt guy mentions that staying in Thailand (iirc) cost him $3/night...which is dirt cheap if you ask me.
We should arrange a Juventuz trip around the world. We can hit up places where members live and stay with them for free.

I hate youtube videos that are over 4mins, it's boring to watch them. Can you just make your point without me watching it?
And even if it is 3,500$ to visit 8 different countries, which probably is not when you consider all the different taxes, living epxenses, etc., it's still 3,500$ I, and most people, don't have to spend on a stupid idea.
