Come on people. Italy had a superb tournament four years ago, and came within a cat's whisker of getting out of a decent group (the Danes and Swedes are both playing fairly well), despite poor form and/or suspension of most of their top players. The World Cup was poor, but again, they were unlucky. How badly have they really done? Have Spain, Germany, England, Holland, etc. done recently? Expectations are too high.

Oh, lets congratulate Trap and the players because they almost win four years ago, and almost were between the good ones this years...C`mon, this is a three times world champion NT...nothing but the eurocup and the world cup would be suitable...

Are they really that good? Are you really arrogant enought to say that Italy should win all the time? They're a good team, but the better team doesn't always win, expecially in cup competitions - hence the art of bookmaking! France can be dissapointed with their exit (just one game on from Italy's) but they don't deserve condemnation - they played alright (by their exceptional standards), and got knocked out when their luck turned. It happens - get over it.

Im not saying that Italy should win all the time, im saying that, given the history and quality of the italian football the results of this euro were a total failure.( and i think the same for france and germany)

The teachings of this euro: Is better to have a bad team playing good, than a good team playing bad.
