I live in a country where football is the sport where blokes wearing singlets and short shorts run around with an egg-shaped ball. Add that to the fact that none of my family are soccer fans, and you've got someone who's quite proud to follow the sport :) I didn't watch much football at all until the 98 World Cup, in which I saw Australia get heart-breakingly knocked out on away goals in the final qualifying leg by Iran after leading by 2 goals, and after that I went on to see my beloved Korea go down 3-1 to Mexico after scoring the first goal, and 5-0 to Holland after waking up at 4:30am to watch it... on my birthday :groan:

Sorry, I went a bit off track there :D

I started following Juve in the 98/99 season when I first saw them on ESPN. I'm quite glad that I started supporting them in that season, because nobody can call me a glory-hunter since they came equal 6th on points :D

2002, when I was 14.
plus

before then I'm not interested in football at all, I support Slovenia NT in 02' WC 'cause I love sLOVEnija, and later I became a football fan, um.. 'cause of Acimovic I support Spurs (he's not in Spurs anymore, though), as for Juve.. 'cause of Gigi and Gigi 'cause of a Pepsi-cola tin :D

... quiet illogical? :p

In 1994.
In WC '94, at first I thought Roby Baggio and Dino Baggio were brothers :D
Then I asked my dad about it, and he said that they're not brothers, it's just coincidence cos lot of italians named Baggio.
Dad who told me that both Roby and Dino played for Juventus, while dad himself supporting AC Milan and ManUtd.
I like Juventus since then, but I loved ManU too (my dad's influence) but when ManU met Juve in Turin (CL 1997) I was so impressed with Pippo's header which saved Juve in CL qualifications round.
I don't like ManU because of Becks attitude, this is ridiculous but that's true :D Especially after they beat our team 2-3 in Delle Alpi (CL 1999).

I started in 2000...right after EURO 2000. I first saw Italy play against Holland, and I loved how they won. That was my first game i watched live... Damn it was great times...I actualy cried when they lost to France, and that was only my second time watching a live game! Then my dad told me that Inzaghi, Del Piero, Zidane etc were in the same team..I didn't change my mind from then on. My heart was for Juve, and Juve only. With exceptions for the Italian NT ofcourse...

I started watching Italian Football when I was 11, in 1991, first match I watched was Inter V Juve, Juventus won 4-2, and Baggio was just superb in that game, so that's when I decided Juve is the team for me.

That was a great victory, wasn't it?

If we talk abou the most entertaining match I've watched, it will have to be Real Madrid - MU show last year!

Man Utd v Madrid games always seem to be brilliant. My favourite is the quarter-final of the CL the last year Redondo played for them ('99/'00??).

O/T: Yours truly back for your annoyance.

As for the question, I seem to be the first one to say it was a certain player who brought me to this club. Summer '92 world record transfer fee paid to Blucerchiati player is my reason.
