I'm not that happpy about that. At first I didn't like them very much, but now they are one of my favourite teams. That's why I hope that it will be better...They didn't deserve such a deep fall!
At least they are quite a fair team...in my view...

I watched this, YEAH! Great one Ireland, show all those Henry fans, just how awful he is, and a bottler!

France, havent been good since they've tried to play 'attractive football', people actually forget that France bored there way to the World Cup in 98, and to the European Champions in 2000. Now they try to play brilliantly and they mess up!

I don't know why everyone complains about Thierry Henry...I like him...
And we don't have to forget that we have 2 Frenchies at Juventus. Trez & Thuram (and Zizou and Henry used to play for Juve) And I think that all of them have talent!

Well they should win today, they're playing with us (Cyprus)

We couldn't even beat the Faroe Islands last week in Cyprus, although we're much better than them... :(

The match finished 0:2, Wiltord and Henry scored the goals as I know.
I'm glad that Thierry Henry scored finally. His goals are a rarity during matches for the national team.

France bored their way to winning the Euro2000? Are you kidding? Thats one of the all time great national sides
I didnt care much for the 98 side but to say they were boring to watch in Euro 2000 is almost like committing a crime.

As for their present problems, well, any side will miss Zz when he leaves and he is irreplaceable
Also on the international stage Henry will never do it 4 u consistently as there are no premiership defenders to aid his cause and most importantly there seems to be no shape to the side as apart from Vieira, I am struggling to see a really class central midfielder

Not very sure about the central defence either

But to be fair they still have some class players just no classy team

They've got young talents to go with Vieira, Giuly and Henry but rebuilding will take them a while. Upfront you've got Cisse coming up and Rothen should be able to push Pires for the left wing spot pretty soon. Sadly for them they've just lost the best player to grace a football field in a decade or more and there's no natural replacement to a class act like the man I'm referring to. In the future they should have a solid defence with the likes of Gallas, Squillaci, Mexes and Evra though, but until they get a top knotch centre mid to play alongside Vieira they'll be missing something.

Yeah, that's just as you said!!!
The sad thing about that all is that they can find somebody who's a real talent, but they'll never find a new Zinedine Zidane! :(

I like it when france looses or screw up! I hate them ever since they beat Italy in euro 2000 final and kicked italy out of WC98 =(

I also supported Italy at the Euro 2000, but then I became fond of the French team. Most people don't like them, but besides Sweden they are my favourite national team.

Do you think african players have more chance of playing for France then French players?
Only the ones with French passports, and who are better than any native French player in their position. :)
