I think he played well when he received the ball. Masiello showed composure with the ball and made some smart passes around the pitch. I am still uncertain over his tackling ability because he was not tested that much in the latter stages of the match. Hopefully though Capello will start him in Rome over the weekend because I think he would be a better option than Birindelli at the moment.

I did not see much of his defending work, it is true he made some good passes and he was confident with the ball (good for a debut, especially in such a gaame).

I noticed one thing, he was hesitating several times, I guess it is just because of this being his first game

he was very calm i dont see how he can do tht .. hes 18 and is playing against inter in like is it his first match in serie A... i am sure tht gum he was chewing helped calm his nerves for the match .. he didnt do any mistakes so not a bad debut .. he culd ve scroed atleast

maybe it was tobacco gum ;)
