Love this thread!
Ok, let me say what I think...first of all, I must say I have great respect for Inter and especially Hector Cuper, who made them title contenders. It was he who made Inter competitive. Without him, Inter would probably fight for a UEFA spot rather than a CL spot.
But I also have great respect for some of the players. Toldo, Cannavaro, Crespo and Recoba are all fantastic players with great quality. Toldo impressed me at Euro 2000, so did Fabio(btw I think he might be the best defender in the world, if not Nesta or Thuram). Crespo has proved this season, but also earlier with Lazio that he is a great scorer, one of the very best in the world(and much better than Ronaldo!).
Recoba is like DP for Inter. When he comes on the field, he makes all the scoring chances and scores a lot of goals too. He is also one of the very best in the world(even though he never seems to get a place in the lineup).
As for Vieri, the statistics say everything. This man scores incredibly many goals(well not in CL) but apart from that he can hardly be called a quality player(Just look at how he plays for Italy).
Almeyda, C. Zanetti, Conceicao...they are good players but nothing more. Inter needs someone like Davids(or Seedorf, who they just sold).
Materrazzi is certainly not good enough when it comes to class, and he does so many mistakes. My advice is stick to Cordoba(what Cuper thank God does). Speaking of Cordoba, he's incredibly fast and is very solid, although it's Cannavaro who is the real quality in defence.
J. Zanetti is as far as I'm concerned one of the best playing players at Inter. I consider Thuram better, but let's leave it by that.
Coco is one of the best(or best, if not Sorin or Candela) left defender in Italy. Not bad.
Dalmat is showing great potential, although he's still far from our Camoranesi, Maresca or Brighi.
Are there any more players to comment? I think I've mentioned the most. But what I'm trying to say, is that I admit Inter are a great team, a team capable of winning Lo Scudetto or reaching the Quarter Finals of CL. I consider them as worse than Juve, but thay're not far away. I think we, Juve fans, should respect Inter more than we seem to do. After all, we seem to respect Milan a lot more, while Inter are almost as good as Milan.
But that doesn't mean I'm any fan of Inter either, I just respect them, that's all. As I said, I think they're not as good as Juve and if it wouldn't be for the won scudetto last season, Juve would again feel hunger for winning it and Inter would have to admit that the best they could achieve is second place.
So, "Inter Hater" or whatever you're name is, I respect your beloved club Inter, but I will never admit your team is better than Juve.
