But San Jose isn't even local its just the closest MLS team to where I live. Its about an hour drive out to a city that I would be happy to never see again.

How about a few years back before San Jose was competing should I have supported the LA Galaxy over Juventus? A team that is over 400 miles from my location but at that time was the closest to me.

My point is that just because San Jose is the closest doesn't mean I consider them local. IMO I do not have a local football team so I can support Juventus all I want.

I somewhat agree with you to a degree, but I think for example, Myself,Buck,Jack and Seven( I think we three have been to the most Juventus games in the forum) if all lived in Turin we'd attend every week, just because we live in another country why should we be called dicks because we feel so passionatly about a club but due to certain issues we cannot attend week in week out.

For me I think that comment could be more apt to the ones who've never even made an effort to go to Turin or go and watch Juventus live in Italy.

Yes they should because there can be many factors as to why someone would not wish to supoort their local club. It's not fair to just call someone a dick without knowing their reasons.
