Won't the planet Earth be totally overcrowded now since no one would've died in all of 2000 years, plus the number of million years between the first day God created man, and the birth of Christ?

The Chinese population for instance would've been hitting about ten billion no?

Won't the weight of all those people and animals, plants, etc spanning that time period not have affected the gravitational pull of the planet?

Again think about this in a pragmatic, scientific and logical way and not allow your religion or beliefs to influence your reasoning.

Let's also ignore the fact that I would most likely have been getting to see Beyonce's tatas for free.

If they hadn't, we wouldn't have a story to tell, now would we?

Kind of a circuitous argument...

I don't understand your reasoning Chx... just because people live longer, doesn't mean they don't die by the same numbers each day.

btw, plants and animals lived for the same amount of time, so I think your theory about the gravitational pull is a bit off :)

I don't know if this is shared by everybody or what, but in my religion, they were thrown from Heaven to Earth AFTER they ate the apple...

So, if they didn't eat it, they would have never saw anything called Earth...

And taking in consideration that we don't know anything about the heaven's size, then I don't know what the original question of this thread was about...

Gray, got a question for you. Doesn't it say in the Bible that one of the punishments for Eve breaking his rule, was that women would have labor when giving birth? And that man now had to work and sweat to grow his own food, etc. Then, it is my understanding, that with the arrival of Jesus was to end mankind's sins and now the gate to heaven was open, etc. So now why do women still have pain when they deliver? Why does man still grow his own food?

Plus your religion doesn't explicitly say it was an "apple";)

Good question Ze.

Christ did come to take the punishment for makind's sins, but you're a little bit off the mark in saying that this opened the gate to heaven. People could already go to heaven, but Jesus paid the price for all mankind, so that we could be saved by simply accepting the free gift of grace.

The price was paid and man was justified, but we still live in a sinful world. The problem of sin has been solved because ,man is no longer condemned, but that doesn't mean earth has become heaven and sin has disappeared altogether.

btw, this isn't a very important point, but you guys are correct in saying that the Bible doesn't mention an apple anywhere - simply that it was the fruit from the tree.

I thought Adam and Eve had kids AFTER they had been kicked out of the Garden of Eden?

Implying they weren't supposed to have kids? Implying kids came to earth along with evil? Birth is evil? Adoption (medical science, also abortion) is a gift of God to mankind?

Au contraire; God's first commandment to Adam and Eve was to have kids:

God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground." - Genesis 1:28
What God said after Adam and Eve ate the fruit was that Eve would have labor pains.

"To the woman he said, "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing;
with pain you will give birth to children. - Genesis 3:16
Hope that clears it up for you.
