But back on topic, I've had kangaroo in Australia (it's excellent), donkey in Italy ("cavallo" - not half bad), but not dog or baby per se.

Oh, and btw, the ancient story about Gerber baby food jars being sold to Africans who thought babies were inside is a pure urban legend:
