...I was named after my grandfather...
Same here.

JOHN
English form of Johannes, which was the Latin form of the Greek name Ioannes, itself derived from the Hebrew name Yochanan meaning "YAHWEH is gracious".

I think I've heard it as "God has chosen", but I'm not fussy. :)

While my grandfather was also John, he was known as Jack, which is a pet form of John.

MIKHAIL is the Russian (and many others) form of
MICHAEL
From the Hebrew name Miyka'el which meant "who is like God?".

I remember playing "Actua Soccer" on the playstation years ago. My little brother loved playing with Italy. The commentary could be a little buggy with that though.

For example, Gianfranco Zola's name was a bit too long for the commentator to finish it between the time he got the ball in the box and when he scored - hence we got to hear, "GianfrancGOAL!!!" and similar. :)

Yeah, it's a pity it only ever happens with obscure players like Ronaldo Luíz Nazário de Lima.

    My name: Oriabure
Meaning: A person you meet for help, or The person to help has come.

Apparently, I got the name cos when my mum went into labour, my dad wasn't around to take her to the hospital and a neighbour did that job. A person to help.
