KIA has exceptional value for the money. Here they give like a 4-5 years full warranty on all their cars. The Germans can shove their warranties where the sun don't shine.
To be honest, I didn't have high hopes out of a Korean made car. Maybe its the word around that Japs make more durable cars, but my thoughts have changed now and I believe in the Korean car industry, speaking from my own personal experience.

Hehhe couldn't be more true. My dad is driving KIA Carnival he bought it 6-7 yrs ago and still running like new, I don't remember that he had any major problem with it. And not to mention that the car transported more than many small trucks...
And about germans, I still can't believe how expensive Golf II is expensive here, Golf from year 86 is mostly more expensive than let's say any Seat, Skoda, Renault, Fiat, Citroen from year 90-92
