BMW has barely changed over the years and Mercedes is even worse. At least brands like Citroen occasionally completely abandon their old, classic, designs. Then later they make a modern copy of their classic design again. It keeps things interesting.

Classic citroen (old school Citroen like every European knows them):

Citroen picasso (something else):

Citroen C6 (modern version of the classic imo):

Citroen C-Airplay (clearly inspired by the old ugly duck):
sure, they have to change the design often, because they rocordnize too late that they have made only shit..:D

The French have invented design, they are the best in the world in the conventional cars category.

And i would prefer Japanese cars over German...German industry had some serious tech advantages and their market influence were seriously boosted up after the world wars, when their superior vehicles were conquering the world.
Today many things have changed, the industry is more competitive than ever.
you must be kidding? take a look at french cars, there is nothing special on them, if you let away the logo, you would not have any idea which car it is..

as for japanese cars, they are good, but you have to know what do you want in your car. If you want to enjoy driving your car and having a nice design than take a german..

:howler: What nonsense. Let's run a small check:

A Mercedes when I was a kid:
http://www.deverelimos.com/fleet.php?fleet_id=54

A Mercedes today:
http://www.rent-mercedes.ro/

Yeah... that's something alright

Don't get me wrong: German cars are not a waste of money. They're luxurious and in case of a crash: you definitely want to be in a German car. But they are just. so. boring.

On another day, I might take that as an insult. Last time I checked, it was Volvo topping this criteria.

I know what you're getting at, Erik. It is not only where you live, almost everywhere Volvos are associated with old men. But the past years the company have been trying so hard to change their standards by creating new designs. And they really look nice. And I don't want to mention safety and environment-friendliness.

All very valid points but they MUST change their logo drastically

I already sent him one that was good, but when i resized it to 16x16, all the details disappeared. I will come up with another one, I promise.
