Jesus Christ...this is hard.

Neil Young - On The Beach
The Stooges - Raw Power
The Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed
The Band - The Band (Brown Album)
Van Morrison - Astral Weeks
The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground (1969 no Nico!)
Led Zeppelin - III
Neil Young - After The Goldrush
The Rolling Stones - Exile On Main Street
Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon

If you want newer music, I'd have to make a different list for post-1980. I can't compare anything before with anything after 1980.

Just listened to it again and have to admit its growing on me, nice chilled out sound.

You would never think it was the Black Keys though.

@big Daddy-Howl is indeed excellent,baby81 took a bit of getting used to but some real gems on there too
Your 100% spot on bout Baby 81 Boz

    .
Since your a fan of the Grunge/Seattle scene have you ever heard of the band Mad Season and their self titled album?

Its a super group made up of Layne Staley from Alice in Chains and members of Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.

Downloaded their album and gonna give it a try.

What about Hole Live Through This?

Great album. Courtney also covered You Know Your Right by her husband.

And theres a demo of Live Through This with Kurt on backing vocals.

And loved their version of Fleetwood Macs Gold Dust Woman.

How has no one said Radiohead - OK Computer yet? Its by far their best album its amazingly constructed from start to finish the songs are placed in perfect order. Probably one of the best albums ever made IMO definitely the best in the 90s for me.

I don't know if I can come up with 10 albums but in no particular order:

    Radiohead - Ok Computer
Wu Tang Clan - 36 Chambers
The Mars Volta - De-Loused In The Comatorium
The Mars Volta - Frances the Mute
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II
The Jimi Hendrix experience - Electric Lady Land
    Daft Punk - Discovery
    Tool - Lateralus
    Jeff Buckley - Grace
    Pearl Jam - Ten
    Silverchair - Neon Ballroom

Tons of hip hop and electro that I listen to but don't think there's a full free flowing album that I like. As far as albums go, they're the most complete to me.
