I've been looking for a condo to buy down there for a couple months now. Easily my favorite city in the states. Wife and I went down there a little over a month ago for a long weekend.

Miami literally has it all: amazing cuisine, ocean (swim-able unlike say, parts of the pacific west coast ), @Fr3sh knows what kind of women are there cuz I was sending him pics lololol, airport is only 9-10 miles away from Brickell (downtown) where I'm looking, South Beach is only 10-11 miles away from there too, beaches are amazing, night life is great for whatever flavor you want (salsa, hookah, mega-clubs, EDM...or seafood and wine if you want)...I love the weather too, obviously...humidity nuts but that's what the ocean is for. Tourism is high so I'd have no problem renting out my condo for extra money. Plus if you go on vacation there, like if I have a condo I'd stay a week there then the Caribbean is easily accessible since all flights go through miami...or all the cruise ship choices too if I fancy that. Flights from DCA (reagan national) to MIA are cheap plus I use American Airlines so win win.
Agreed, now you’re making me want to move there.

I do. In fact, its changing right now. Look outside. Quick, before it changes again.
Same, and at work . Now I go back and forth between that and Airbnb to see what to would take to make a profit off of it by renting. To be honest, I don't see how people do it, the margins seem so small. But I guess they also didn't buy at the height of a housing bubble, so there's that.

Depends on your location. That's why I'm choosing Brickell...there is a massive open air shopping mall down there with amazing restaurants/bars, etc. Its not far to the beach or airport so to me the location is great plus you can get some sick views on the high rises if you are lucky to find that kind of deal.

Just need to increase my income by about 1.5 times and then have the housing market crash for me to start, nbd :tuttosport:
