There is an abundance of shitty food yea but it is mostly an issue of poverty and access. People who aren't poor eat healthy, eat home cooked meals, don't shop at grocery outlet etc. But shit is so spread out in a lot of parts of the US you also need a way to get to the grocery store ie a car. If you don't have that then Mcdonalds and the liqour store are what is within walking distance.

I don't understand how this is supposed to go against what I posted? It only reinforces my opinion. Which is that it is easer to eat healthy food in Europe than it is in the US, precisely because there are so many factors that make eating shitty food appealing in the US.

Americans aren't any different from human beings all over the world. The only reason your obesity rates are much higher, is because somehow it is more convenient for a lot of Americans to eat shitty food.
