I get the impression that MBAs only serve to impress other people with MBAs.
It's a good thing to have if you're looking for a promotion, so they can't find a reason not to give you one. IMO it's just a very minor upgrade of knowledge overall and not worth the investment unless you're in a huge company and know that they will appreciate it. It's also a nice thing to have if you're in the short list among those applying on a tender, so they look at degrees, but you shouldn't really care about boosting some other company just for the sake of it :p

If your employer offers significant promotion and more opportunity, it makes sense to get one. Otherwise, yeah it's not really a useful degree other than to look impressive.
:agree:

Spend that time with friends and loved ones. You can't use that MBA on your death bed anyway.

The legalization has provided a lot of opportunity.

That federal agencies can still sieze all your assets without trial over it makes it alot less appealing though. The culture around it is full insufferable people too.

You could say that about a lot of hobbies :D

Vintage lenses are awesome. They are all different, and cheap most of the time.
I'm not bashing. Just asking cause I have no clue how that works. I'd personally love to have a good camera. How much would it cost to get something second hand and something that's good and not too expensive? :D

Yeah, that's a tough one. Digital i guess? Analog ones go for really cheap (under €50) with nice lenses already attached to them, but i wouldn't wanna live without live-view anymore. Waiting to find out if your pic is actually good isn't something i really miss :p

The Sony alpha 5000/6000 (mirrorless) are supposed to be great for adapting old lenses, but for starters pretty much all entry level DSLR's are really good these days. Sony alpha 58 (around €250 used), Nikon 3200 (about €250 used)/3300/3400, Canon eos 1300d (under €300 used) are all good to get started and will get you great pictures if you know what you are doing.

However, I wouldn't call any of those cheap though, but you have to keep in mind you can get years, or a decade, out of them if you treat them right. I still own a Sony alpha 100 (over 10 years old i think) and it works just fine.

Don't go for compact cameras or ones with fixed lenses. Not worth the money and a dying breed imo, you can juse your smartphone camera instead and it'll do fine most of the time.

Edit: I didn't double check the prices, but they should be about accurate.
