I'm annoyed with myself because I actually heard a 'bang' on their front door and I just assumed it was the wind.
Luckily they weren't home at least
A year ago, my sister enters her apartment building, goes to elevator, has a a black ski mask with knife fucker waiting for her to get out to rob/rape her (she recognized coat, same guy that was following her outside for 30 minutes), she verbally fights him off in little tuzzle with her bag, SCREAMING HER LUNGS out, was late, just after 01.00, but NO FUCKER reacts in this big building, despite having around 3-4 neighbours in that floor alone.
She was lucky she resisted a bit for 10-15 seconds to discourage him, and even more so I was inside her apartment (she didnt know), happend to come by shortly before because missed my last train. Ran down the stairs and chased the fucker on pure adrenaline for 1-2 minutes outside with no shoes lol. Lost him in the woods.
In the next neighbourhood/council meeting month later, I asked who heard her screaming for help, after awkward fussing 3 people said they did. Made me so angry to see their sheepish faces. Told them I hope to God someone is there for you if the same ever happens to you...
