Rolling out of the Peace Corpse? Do tell!
Not rolling, just looking. I'm already extended past my original time frame. The Mexican government seems intent on killing one of my projects and the others are pretty close to finished. Meaning I don't really have a lot to do as of late and I'm the type of guy that needs to have shit to do or he starts looking for what's next. So as far as I see it, I have 8 months to see what's out there, travel, and work minimally. Since Trump was elected my non compete status is probably worthless. If I can find a job that's challenging and pays sufficiently, I will take it.

Great idea to look for what's next... before someone else does that for you. Without accomplishments to show for your time and effort, it's easy to get stuck and dependent. Being able to sleep on the job is a much bigger personal liability than it sounds.

Good luck in the search. Not that I have any genius ideas worth paying attention to, but feel free to lean on me for a sounding board on thoughts or suggestions.

Thanks yo.

I think I totally bombed my interview
They told me I was the most honest candidate so far and it was refreshing :touched::lol:
I couldn't lie about my abilities, I'm just a student teacher with absolutely no experience other than my two practicums, so i have lots to improve on. Basically told them that I am conscious of my weaknesses and that I will work on them because I would be responsible of the results that the kids produce and that underachieving and being uncertain is a risk that cannot be taken when it comes to a child's education, and I meant it.

Call them back and say that if they don't hire you you'll contact local media and claim you were turned down because you're black. Perhaps you'll even go full American Beauty and say that the dude conducting the interview said you'd have a better chance of being hired if you came home with him and fucked his wife while he watched.

Nah man, besides I got interviewed by two old ladies :D

I'm not worried at all, this was one interview out of a possible 3 for this January, and i was actually kinda hoping I don't get it so I can go abroad, but there's no way I'd overlook the pay gap so I'd obviously prioritize getting a job here.

So many guys are stuck in their mind when they see a hot chick. I think majority of men would think 'wow, look at her.... I wonder who bangs this. No way I could fuck her'. I know many of my friends does. I do too, sometimes. It's either lack of cash, flat etc. The thing is: majority thinks like that! At least here, dunno. So with that mindset actually there's pretty much noone walking up to her and trying anything. I think average girls get more approaches. Just a while ago I went to my old workplace and I saw a new girl. I had no idea who she was. And there was that. A moment of 'should I approach or skip'. I was in a good mood so I approached and started making fun of her. She was 'mad' but it was obvious she felt nice. I got her contant pretty easy. We went out on a drink, it went fine. But nevermind that, it was just a second of thought going through 'do I have balls to approach'. And I had.. at least that day. I ended up her in bed. I'm not trying to brag here (just a little bit) but my point is: damn, imagine how many relationships, one nighters or even marriages disappear cause one of the two usually didn't have balls to approach and decided to skip. This is just a v-courage to others! You can always try, you don't have anything to lose. Wisdom of the day: don't be pussies.
