90 seats for the right wing parties in Denmark. 89 for the left wing parties.

So close.
as much as i know about politics...and its alot...i am
not an denmark expert :D

so how left are the left ones?
how right the right ones?
and is there no middle ground?

of course the right ones suck,
but the left ones suck aswell, just in a different way.

Of course there is a middle ground, but the new government is mainly a right wing one. Denmark, just like the rest of Scandinavia, is generally leaning to the left, and the party leaning most to the right 'only' want to get the income tax down to 40% (for now). The biggest problem with the new government is imo that the Danish People Party is now the second biggest party in Denmark. They're basically a bunch of racists and will get way too much influence.

Ya look, I won't lie, its hard to argue against developed western countries, but saying the UAE especially, is a desert that nobody likes to live in is silly. Its one of the most attractive countries in the world for expats, and it is one of the most attractive countries in the world for tourists too. The standard of living is quite high, and even in that ranking you posted (even though its methodology is probably questionable, as these things are highly subjective) the UAE is ranked #20 ahead of countries like the UK and France. So it can't be as bad as some of you make it out to be.

I know you were, and I did admit that its hard to argue against developed countries with high standards of living and functioning democracies such as Scandinavian countries. All I'm saying is that even according to that list you posted, the UAE is a lot better than some here would have you believe.
