You're right though I've heard nothing but good things about Emirates Airlines. I can't say I'm entirely confident about the ethics of the company (don't know that much about it tbh), but apparently they do offer the best service you can get.

I don't hate the desert. Quite the opposite really, I find deserts fascinating. But slavery does suck. Hard. And I don't want to play football in the desert either.

Emirates is a pretty good employer. They pay above market rates and generally the office staff and the air hostesses/stewards have much better incentives added to their contracts than those of competitors. I don't know about the other staff (like the manual labourers).
